2019 BMW i8 Roadster Review: Ultra-Smooth, Ultra-Niche


From the moment I saw the BMW i8 Spyder Concept in 2012 I knew that wearing a license plate would be one of the most impressive cars. We were waiting with great expectations for the debut of the production car, but following the introduction of the coupe in 2014, we quickly faced a breath. We felt that we were made fun of that delay. Certainly the i8 coupe was radical, but its Spyder Concept promised even greater curb charm.


Certainly, the car was sharp but still the four years of the i8 coupe was accustomed to the bold design of BMW, and the revolution of electric power train development diminished its appeal. Plug-in hybrid type of i8. Coins lost their brilliance, but they were still able to retain their value.

The most frustrating aspect of i8 's interior is the struggle for access. Unlike hybridized NSX, the plug-in i8 also has a range of pure electricity. Unlike other hybrid vehicles, the i8 Roadster in 2019 offers 3 travelers e-travels totaling 18 miles more than the output model. Unlike other hybrid cars, the i8 also runs at a fairly high speed (maximum speed of 75 miles).
